Give dreams. Give to Shriners Hospitals for Children® Canada this Giving Tuesday.

Like most kids in Canada, Annabelle loves sports. Although she plays basketball and field hockey (while on the honour roll), she’s really into rugby. Rough? Yes. Her dream? Make the Canadian national rugby team. But like thousands of teens, Annabelle injured her knee. She was referred to Shriners Hospitals for Children® Canada because it’s among the best hospitals in the world when it comes to orthopedics. Indeed we at Canada Shriners Hospital perform hundreds of successful knee surgeries on teens each year.

“Everything at the hospital has been flawless,” offers Annabelle’s mother, Debie. “Not only the surgeon, Dr. Martineau, but the physiotherapy. We live 45 minutes away, but come to the hospital twice a week because we feel that’s where Annabelle will get the best services.”

Canada Shriners Hospital has an expert team and lovely new facilities, but having the right rehabilitation equipment is as important as perseverance during rehab.

This Giving Tuesday, help us buy a $5000 physiotherapy bicycle. High-tech, it will help get hundreds of teens each year back on their feet and back to their sports faster and more safely. What’s more, Dorel will match each dollar donated, meaning your gift will go twice as far.

This bicycle will help teens like Annabelle get back on the field. This $5000 will help them reach their dreams.
